Junior Data Scientist

MGT is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data for clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with large datasets using tools like Excel, Python, and data visualization software. • Support the monitoring, enhancement, and scaling of our RAG solution hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate in developing new features and improvements for our generative AI applications.
• Assist in deploying NLP applications using LLMs for information generation and retrieval.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into institutional tools and services.
• Conduct data preparation, transformation, and analysis using Python.
• Contribute to the automation, logging, and documentation of machine learning workflows.
• Stay up to date with advancements in LLMs, NLP, and Azure AI technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with a deep learning framework.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, or Azure Storage.
• Experience working with LLMs or RAG frameworks through coursework or practical projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
