Data Scientist

The Data Scientist ML, part-time, role will work on training ML models using data pipelines, Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL) processes, and data integration. This role will also deliver excellent customer experience by working directly with clients and customers. The role requires a commitment to 20 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Projects involving ML models in application areas, estimating performance gain, and building a case for development.
• Build machine learning components for the Ever.Ag Data Science platform.
• Configure and deploy ML models in customer implementations.
• Support existing customer implementations.
• Use statistical analysis to identify trends in customer and market data.
• Collaborate on project data requirements and perform statistical testing.
• Perform accuracy tests on models.
• Utilize existing tools and techniques to solve data problems.
• Work with a services team in a SaaS environment.
• Report to customer leadership and assist with decision making.
• Potential travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics. PhD candidates welcome.
• 2+ years’ experience in building ML/forecasting models.
• Experience with various ML techniques.
• Experience with large datasets for analytics.
• Experience designing and building data pipelines.
• Hands-on with SQL, Python, GitHub.
• Understanding of programming concepts and collaboration.
• Cloud familiarity (AWS) is a plus.
