Data Scientist (Gen AI)

Blue Yonder is a leading provider of digital supply chain solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Data Scientist with a Master's degree specializing in Generative AI to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Python and a passion for exploring the cutting edge of Generative AI, who is eager to learn and contribute to real-world applications. While development experience is less critical for this role, solid Python skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and experiment with Generative AI models (LLMs, Diffusion Models, GANs, VAEs, etc.) using Python.
• Conduct literature reviews and stay up to date with the latest advancements in Generative AI.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable Python code.
• Contribute to code reviews and learn from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers on projects.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
• Actively seek mentorship and guidance from senior team members.
• Explore novel applications of Generative AI within our products and services.
• Contribute to research and experimentation with new AI technologies.
• Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI.

What we are looking for:

Must-Have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with a specialization in Generative AI.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional and demonstrated experience in Python Programming.
• Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for building cutting-edge AI products.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with MLOps concepts.
• Contributions to open-source projects in the AI/ML space.
